Lionel Euston

That Bloke – Lionel Euston is a born and bred Queenslander who has lived a large part of his life in small country towns. He loves the outdoors.

A long time bushwalker, he still likes to visit some of our more inaccessible bush treasures every year. A passion for natural history has also taken him into the bush often over the years both for pleasure and for various scientific surveys.

Photography, particularly landscapes and nature subjects has occupied much of his
time on recent trips around this great land of ours and he shows a good eye and creative talent in that field.

Give him an audience, a large one or a much smaller one around a campfire and he likes nothing better than being the entertainer and setting them all laughing at his
own poetry or that of other great contemporary or classical bush poets.
