    Some of Australia’s most amazing singers have cut their teeth at this exciting local competition. They can now be seen on world stages, Australian Idol and on Australian radio. We first had the pleasure of witnessing their talent at The Redfest Vocal Contest hosted by the Redlands Sporting Club and now celebrating its seventh year. Just to name drop a few, previous winners include Mirusia who now travels with world with Andre Rieu, Megan Washington from popular contemporary band Washington, and Lauren Street – Idol Semi-finalist 2009.

    No, it isn’t the famous pelican from Storm Boy, but this guy can make his music fly! Mr Percival (aka Darren Percival) has been stunning crowds and gathering fans all over Australia for over 20 years.

    Music and festival enthusiasts are encouraged to purchase their RedFest tickets online now to take advantage of the early bird specials. “The ticket prices are very affordable,” said Bruce Smith, Festival President. “We want to make the Festival accessible to everyone even in a tough economy. Ticket sales are off to a promising start and I encourage everyone to get them now to avoid the rush and to take advantage of the early bird savings.”
