Thanks from Bruce (Committee President) – Volunteer Reunion

Wow what a turnout, with numbers almost hitting 50, leave it to the volunteers to kick start the season into overdrive. Apart from a couple of sniffles and croaky voices, I think everyone had a relaxing afternoon catching up with old and greeting new friends to our ‘Family’.

As always, thanks to Jo & Nadia for all their prep work, and to the guys and gals for the cleanup effort, sorry Rob M, the Shiraz did not help.

Thanks Patrick for the entertainment. When you have a lazy hour I’ll give you some guitar ‘tips’. Always room for improvement.

I hope we took the opportunity to catch up with our newly crowned ‘Volunteer Co-coordinator’, Kathy B. I would suggest that ALL team leaders call your meetings soon, and come up with an estimate of your volunteer requirements, role tasks and time allocation. Also remember it is our responsibility to procure these volunteers, so let’s hit up family, neighbours, friends and work mates.

We should all have time to enjoy this marvelous event.
